The Sarangani Writers League (SWL) is set to host the highly anticipated SOX Zine Festival 2024 on November 30 at Veranza Mall, General Santos City.
The SOX Zine Fest is an annual gathering of creators, readers, and supporters of zines and independent publications in Soccsksargen.
Since its inception in 2017, the zine fest has continued to serve as a platform for emerging writers, readers, and publishers in the region.
In a recent Facebook post, SWL shared that they facilitated an online meeting with young writers from the region on Wednesday, October 30, in preparation for the event.
Representatives from various writers’ groups participated in the meeting.
The SOX Zine Fest is being organized in partnership with the New Brighton School of the Philippines, Inc., and in collaboration with other writers’ groups in the region.
