The General Santos City Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (GSCCCI) has received the prestigious Most Outstanding Chamber Award 2024 in the City Level, Large Chamber Category, from the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI).
The award ceremony took place on Wednesday, October 23, during the 50th Philippine Business Conference (PBC) and Expo at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.
This award acknowledges the Chamber’s relentless efforts in promoting sustainable business growth, fostering innovation, and driving economic progress, not only in GenSan but across Mindanao.
GSCCCI’s leadership in hosting high-profile events, such as the 33rd Mindanao Business Conference in 2024, has demonstrated its ability to unite business leaders, government officials, and entrepreneurs in addressing regional challenges and opportunities.
“This award is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our members and partners. We share this victory with the entire business community of General Santos and Mindanao,” said GSCCCI President Miguel Rene Dominguez.
The Chamber’s commitment to supporting local businesses, enhancing trade opportunities, and advocating for policies that spur economic growth has earned it this well-deserved recognition. This award also highlights the collective efforts of the Chamber’s members, sponsors, and partners who have worked tirelessly to make GSCCCI a leader in the business community.
GSCCCI and its partners were also recognized for successfully hosting the 33rd Mindanao Business Conference, held from September 11-13, 2024.
This year's conference, themed "Embracing Innovation. Empowering Business. Enriching Lives," built on the PBC as a platform for strengthening the role of the private sector in shaping the country’s economic and social landscapes. Over 1,500 local and foreign delegates attended the event.
The PBC&E is an annual PCCI event that serves as a testament to its commitment to nation building and prosperity. It is a platform for sharing ideas, forging partnerships, and creating strategies in pursuit of empowering business and enriching the lives of PCCI stakeholders, the community, and the country.
