FUJIFILM Philippines held its highly anticipated FUJIFILM Nationwide Photo and Video Walk in General Santos City, on Saturday, October 5.
The event saw over 150 photographers and videographers from GenSan and neighboring towns come together to participate. This year’s theme, “Simple Joys,” encouraged participants to capture the essence of their surroundings and share their stories through images.
FUJIFILM Philippines emphasized that the event aims to unite enthusiasts from various regions and backgrounds, providing them with an opportunity to explore their areas and express their creativity.
“We are thrilled to gather our fellow photographers in the city, from hobbyists to professionals. This event is open to all camera brands, and we are excited to see new faces among the registered participants,” said Photowalk Team Leader Danz J. Pelaez Jr.
Pelaez noted that this year’s photowalk had the largest attendance in his four years of organizing the event. The photowalk route included Plaza Heneral Santos, the GenSan Public Market, and Queen Tuna Park.
The participants' photo and video entries will be judged on October 11, with the winners announced on October 12.
The FUJIFILM Nationwide Photo and Video Walk is an eagerly anticipated annual gathering of camera enthusiasts, held simultaneously in key cities across the Philippines.
Originally known as the Nationwide Photo Walk, the event has evolved to include videography, reflecting the growing interest in video creation and the advancements in FUJIFILM camera technology.
Over the years, it has become one of FUJIFILM's flagship events, drawing enthusiastic participation from photographers and videographers nationwide.
