Annually, the City Government recognizes and celebrates the economic accomplishments of Gensan's entrepreneurs, along with the active involvement of stakeholders, during a month-long celebration.

The CCT Ministry Among Tribespeople Inc. was acknowledged for "Enhancing Management and Labor Capabilities." Their efforts at the CCT Malungon Retreat and Training Center helped strengthen its IP workforce. The income generated by CCT MRTC supports various outreach initiatives benefiting tribal communities.

These commendations underscore the vital role of MSMEs and collaborative partnerships in driving economic growth.

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. praised the remarkable achievements of MSMEs at the 2024 Presidential Awards for Outstanding MSMEs.

The 2024 Presidential Awards for Outstanding MSMEs is a flagship initiative spearheaded by DTI’s MSME Development Group led by Usec. Ma. Cristina A. Roque, through the MSME Development Council Secretariat and Bureau of Small and Medium Enterprise Development.

The Presidential Awards for Outstanding MSMEs was launched by the DTI during the National MSME Summit 2023. It was renamed from Outstanding MSME Awards to its current name under Republic Act 9501 or the Magna Carta for MSMEs.
